As a working parent, I found myself constantly switching between school apps, emails, WhatsApp groups, homework portals, and now AI tools—yet I still felt disconnected from what my child was actually learning.
I didn't need more information. I needed context.
Talking to other parents made me realize I wasn't alone.
Yugmo grew out of that shared frustration.
The name Yugmo is inspired by the Sanskrit word युग्म (Yugma), meaning a connected pair.
Our logo is built around a beautiful property of an ellipse. An ellipse has two focal points, and every signal that begins at one focus naturally finds its way to the other.
For us, those two focal points are the parent and the child. A child's curiosity, questions, and dreams should always reach the parent, just as a parent's care, encouragement, and guidance should always find their way back to the child. Yugmo exists to help preserve that connection — by quietly bringing together everything happening in a child's learning journey. Not by doing more, but by understanding more.
Unlike AI assistants that simply generate answers, सेतु (Setu) encourages children to think.
She already understands what happened in school today, today's homework, previous learning and upcoming projects.
Instead of asking children to prompt AI better, Setu asks better questions.
Please let your child spend 10 minutes with Setu if possible.
This is still an early pilot. Nothing here is perfect. That's exactly why your feedback matters.
